Grant Elementary School Staff Enjoy a Special Day of Recognition and Appreciation

Grant Elementary School recently took time to recognize the dedication and hard work of its staff during a special Staff Appreciation Day.
Held Wednesday, October 28, the festive event honored teachers, administrators, and support staff for the important roles they play in supporting student learning and creating a positive school environment.
The celebration featured a paint party in the school's cafeteria/gymnasium, while school board members and Central Office staff showed their appreciation by surprising employees with small gifts and treats.
The activities provided an opportunity for the school community to come together, share smiles, and recognize the individuals who make a difference in students' lives each day.
“It was heartwarming to see our district and community partners come together to recognize the people who give so much of themselves to our students each day,” said Grant Elementary School Principal Judy Vang.
As the leader of the school community, Vang understands firsthand the dedication it takes to meet the many needs of students while creating a supportive learning environment for everyone.
“October can be a challenging time for educators as they balance the academic, social, and emotional needs of our kiddos along with their many other responsibilities. I wanted to intentionally create a moment for our staff to feel celebrated and reminded that their hard work does not go unnoticed,” Vang shared.
Beyond the fun and festivities, the celebration offered staff members an opportunity to connect, recharge, and enjoy a moment of recognition.
“When our staff feels valued, supported, and appreciated, they are better positioned to give their best to our students. Our educators pour their hearts into our kiddos every day, and they deserve to have that same love and care poured back into them,” Vang added.
